This being my first ever blog posting, I decided to post on some questions I've encountered thus far. I'm not expecting a Pulitzer or a NYT top selling book for this blog so set expectations accordingly.

1. Why "Side B" as a post title?  As with many of the Great records - the best songs aren't always found on Side A.  The decision to make a 180° change in my life in 2012 is my Side B - my belief that the best of me is not what I've been/done thus far.
2. What is this "180° change"?  On May 29, 2012 at 10:57 am (EST),  I resigned from my job to finally do what I've tirelessly talked about for years - travel the world.   
• No, there is no job lined up for when I come back
• Yes, I know the US and Global economy is struggling and that jobs are hard to come by
3. Do you have a plan? No
4. Why are you doing this? As mentioned in #2, I've talked about doing this for so long that this trip is more so you all can stop hearing me talk about traveling and to enjoy the photos and stories of the actual journey.  
5. Is this your version of "Under the Tuscan Sun"  or "Eat, Pray, Love"?  I'll say no - but you've already come to your own conclusion.  
• I am not however a freelance author with a huge advance on my next best seller funding my trip.  I think this makes my travels significantly ballsier than either of these two but I digress.  
6. Crazy or the smartest decision of my life?  I guess we're about to find out........
