Today is officially my third week here in Spain and just because I'm exhausted from all the sight seeing and, I believe, victim of a shin splint (ok, barely one but still), I've spent the day doing essentially nothing.
Now this is not the first low key day; however, today for some reason my Type A, analytical persona just could not be pacified. So, just for the fun of it I decided to crunch a few numbers. I so love numbers or maybe just excel.
I was compelled to calculate what percentage of the actual time made it into a movie for all of these other so called free spirit/life altering experiences (you see where I'm going, right?). I mean let's be serious, if I decided to vacate my life for an entire year and then have it made into a blockbuster hollywood film (big name actress yet to be named), how much of my time away would be captured in said movie. Per my calculations - 0.017%. (90 minute (film) / number of minutes in a year).
Thus applying this to my time thus far, I have approximately 5 minutes of movie worthy experiences to share.
Makes me wonder what those 5 minutes are. I surely hope not the time it took me to calculate this and write up this blog.
