Bye Bye, Bali

Another destination come and gone in what seems like a blink of an eye.  Traveling from the lusciously green rice patty fields to the hustle and bustle of a typical beach town - and having equally experienced a similar range of emotion regarding Bali in just 10 short days.

The country is filled with incredible locals who are always quick to offer up a smile and greetings - and if you stop for even a fraction of a second, to engage you in conversations about where you're from and their life in Bali.  Coupled with tourists from all over the world and you've got quite the experience.

And so it is with much confusion about how I actually feel about Bali that I move on to my next and final destination(s) of this trip.  For those who are counting (probably just me) Bali was the 5th continent  and the Indian Ocean my third ocean, I've visited in my life time.   That in and of itself will always make Bali a special place for me.   Will I ever return I cannot say but there is a part of me that feels there's so much left to see and experience.... once I learn how to drive a damn scooter on the left side of the road.

Until that time comes, I say bye bye Bali - thanks for the memories and now it's time for takeoff.

See you all soon in........ ha!  You have to wait for it!  (again if you know - keep it to yourself!)
